Document, passport, visa door-to-door to the American Embassy!

We would like to inform our dear customers that in 2026 our telephone customer service will be closed for the summer from June 29, 2026 to July 7, 2026. During this period, our telephone customer service agents will not be available, but you can still receive information in the automated menu.

Our written customer service is operating without interruption.

We would like to inform our valued clients that the IPL office and its written customer service will be closed on July 3, 2026, due to the public holiday (Independence Day). Regarding delivery services to the U.S. Embassy, ​​orders received by 3:00 PM on July 2, 2026, will be processed on July 3, 2026. Orders placed after 3:00 PM on July 2, 2026, will be processed on July 7, 2026 (Tuesday).

IPL Hungary, as the official and exclusive logistics partner of the American Embassy provides shipping services for you. We deliver documents, visas and passports within the borders of Hungary to the American Embassy or to your address.

How to use our services?
To send documents to the American Embassy:
1. Fill in the forms below.
2. Payment will be processed once the forms have been filled. We do not store credit card details and cannot retrieve them either, so your personal information is
completely safe.
3. Place the document to a closed container (envelope, box, etc.)
4. All registrations before 3pm will be processed on the same day, therefore the courier will pick up the document on the following working day-at the registration address. Registrations after 3pm will be processed on the next working day.

To deliver your issued documents to your home address:
1. Fill in the forms below.

2. Payment will be processed once the forms have been filled. We do not store credit card details and cannot retrieve them either, so your personal information is
completely safe.

3. Once the document is ready, on the next working day (if the payment was made) our courier collects your document from the Embassy. The package will be delievered on the following working day.

4.After the payment is made, the label for the package is printed on the following working day. In case the embassy has already handed the document over to us, we package the passport on the same working day and hand it over to the courier for delivery. In that case the package is delivered on the next working day.

You’re not at home and cannot wait for the package? No problem! With IPL, you can choose to receive your issued documents to a GLS point or locker near you (there are more than 1500 available places) or change the date of delivery. In accordance with the GTC, documents will not be delivered to work addresses, public places, or offices – additional costs may arise if you do provide such an address. The cost of changing these packages is included in Appendix II of the GTC, the packages will be automatically placed in a vending machine, the 1-working-day delivery and insurance will be invalidated in accordance with the GTC due to incorrect recording. More detailed information is included in the GTC and Appendix VI of the GTC.

In case you wish to send your documents to the Embassy, you must hand it over these official documents to a courier. You can do this personally, ask a family member or ask for pickup at your workplace (pickup is generally between 8-3pm).

In case there are more than one family member who are applying, it is important to remember, that each form has to be filled in and paid for separately.

Important notes!

The courier cannot deliver official documents (passport, visa papers, etc.) to a mailbox, as they require a signature. If you are unable to receive them, we recommend that you request delivery to a parcel machine. GLS is involved in the delivery service. A registration is valid for 60 calendar days – further conditions in the GTC. The prices shown are only valid within Hungary, to your home or parcel point. If you are requesting the invoice in a name other than your own (e.g. company), please proceed as described in the GTC. Delivery outside Hungary is not possible.

The prices are only applicable to locker or home delivery within the borders of Hungary. We do not offer shipping services outside of Hungary.

In case of delivery to a locker our colleague will try to call you on the provided phone number. In case it is unsuccessful, we will record delivery to the locker which is nearest to the provided address.

Due to the high number of orders received we cannot provide a unique delivery time. The pickup route is planned in advance and notification is sent about the approximate delivery time in the form of a 3-hour time window.

We ask you to prepare the document in a non-transparent, sealed envelope by that time. As our couriers have numerous pickups a day, they are unable to stay on one location to wait for the pickup.

Important: The process of handling visa (or other documents) requests is solely depended on the American Embassy. In order to protect your personal information, our couriers do not receive any information regarding the status of your case.
